Have you ever had a premonition about something that came true?
Yes, I have on at least three occasions. Two of them involved winning things. The first was when I was 13, when I was traveling with my dad to a boat show. On the last day, they were having a drawing for a men's diamond ring and when he wanted to leave early and get on the road I told him, "Don't, because you're going to win that grand prize." He laughed at me, but I insisted. And yes, he did win it, much to his surprise.
The second time was in 1993, when I was entered to win a trip to Paris from a local radio station. I kept saying that I had a feeling I was going to win this trip for some reason. I did. This was especially cool!
So every once in a while I'll get that same feeling of assurance that something will come true, but very rarely...
Were your holiday cards store bought, handmade, online, TBD or MIA?
My holiday cards were a combination of store bought and "handmade" (not to be confused with the handmade ones I made three years ago, each one taking me a half hour or so to create with art stamps, watercolours and the like). I bought the cards you can insert pics into, then put in a photo I shot of a snowman last year.
Well, at least they were kinda humourous and not like sth I could have bought.
What would you attempt to do if you knew you could never fail?

It took me all of two seconds to know the answer to this one. If my success were guaranteed, I'd open my own business doing photography, graphic design and printing. It's something I've spent a lot of time researching and something I have a lot of desire to do, but knowing the expense of having your own business with licenses, insurance, a storefront and the buildout on such when I don't have a backer has made me take another path for now. But I've not given up that in some manner I'll realise this dream.
How old were you when you had your very first boyfriend/girlfriend? Do you still know them now?

I've not thought of this in a long time. I met my first boyfriend, Terry, when I was 14, and I had an enormous crush on him all that summer after meeting him as he worked in a local jewelry store in my hometown of Jacksonville, NC. I went away that summer to camp, but sent back long letters to him, though it was plain he wasn't swept off his feet with me, at least at that point. Fall came, and I decided to leave him alone, and that was when he developed a major crush on me and we used to love to fly down country roads on his Honda motorcycle. I was amazed at the fact he could name every bird we saw from a distance, and I was smitten with his lovely blue eyes and blonde hair. I still remember that first kiss, standing just inside my front door on a Sunday afternoon. It was love, at least until I moved away several months later and didn't see him again.
Last year, one of my best friends was down here in Florida and we met for lunch. Terry's name came up and to my complete amazement she told me he had died over ten years ago, hadn't she ever told me? Though it had been a long time, I felt such a rush of emotion I couldn't hold back the tears at not knowing before.
What was your worst hairstyle decision ever?
Normally my hair is fairly well behaved and we get along. I LIKE my straight hair. But I remember somewhere in the 80's when I decided my hair was just way too straight and flat and I went the route of having a PERM. Oh, I could put up with the smell and the hours to get one. But what I hated was how I only liked it for about 11 days. The first four weeks my hair was a matted, kinky, mousy mess. Then for nearly two weeks it was reasonably nice, if I would take the time to carefully blow dry it and use a good bit of mousse in it as well as hair spray. And then I entered the phase where I would apologise for my hair and make a mental note of needing another hair appointment to get another perm.
What a vicious cycle that was...second only to my addiction to having acrylic nails! I still miss the nails...but NOT the perms!
What do you always forget to pack?

If I'm going on a trip, I usually forget really OBVIOUS things, like shoes. On short trips, like for the day, I'll forget the power cord for my laptop.
My dream career (though I used to dream of opening a ultra cool coffee joint with live music at night and local artists' masterpieces on the walls, but realised it would likely not be profitable at all) would be to have my own business for full service graphic design and photography. Still have not given up on that one.
